About Teen Lifeline
Teen Lifeline provides a safe, confidential and crucial crisis service - teens helping teens make healthy decisions. Teen Lifeline operates three initiatives that will be funded by Twestival:
The Teen Peer Counseling Crisis Hotline is a 24 hour a day, 365 days a year free confidential resource for teens in Arizona which receives over 22,000 calls a year from Arizona youth.
Classroom Prevention Workshops provide awareness, education, prevention and life skills to more than 35,000 middle and high school Valley youth every year on teen issues like bullying and coping with stress.
Life Skills Development empowers at risk teens to become leaders and mentors in their community. Graduates use these skills to staff the Teen Peer Counseling Crisis Hotline, creating a waterfall effect where each een trained will positively affect 450 other Valley youths over 500 hours of service.
